What Korean Lip Blushing Actually Does
Lip blush deposits a sheer wash of pigment into the lips to correct tone and redefine the border. It is not a lip liner tattoo and it should never read as a hard outline. Done well, it makes pale or unevenly pigmented lips look healthy and awake, and it makes the shape look balanced from across a room.
The Korean approach favours a gradient that is denser toward the centre and softer at the edges, which is why it reads as your lips rather than as makeup. Colour choice matters enormously here, and we select it against your natural lip tone and undertone, not from a chart.
Expect the colour to look considerably brighter for the first few days and then settle to roughly half that intensity as the skin heals. Your included retouch is where we perfect tone and shape once we can see how your skin took the pigment.
